Drive from Comox to Tahsis

Two dogs enjoying the drive

Campbell River

We hiked up to Elk Falls, thinking it would only take 20 minutes to go there and back. It took 2 hours and 45 minutes. We didn't bring any water with us and I was extremely dehydrated, so I laid on my belly and drank from the part of Campbell River shown here (the part right before it goes over the waterfall). Now I can consider myself all cool, tough, and adventurousness.

Elk Falls (Campbell River)

Campbell River. We waded here. It was cold and rocky.

The amazing, beautiful, and clear Upper Campbell Lake.

The "Tree to Sea Drive" from Gold River to Tahsis

Steve's coffee cup may suggest otherwise, but we were in the middle of nowhere. Really.
